Three.

Marc and I have some exciting news to share with you – we are in the process of adopting a little boy or girl from the Philippines! In about two years we’ll be a family of three! We don’t have much in the way of information to share with you yet, but wanted to share this wonderful news with you so you could enjoy this journey with us and be praying for us as we move down this path!

We’re aiming to complete our home study in November and have our dossier submitted to the Philippines by late January. The Philippines only accepts 10 dossiers per agency per year and our agency has already submitted their ten for this year so the goal is to have us be one of the first ones out the door in 2012! Right now we’re gathering every shred of information about us, filling out forms, and getting finger printed (for the bazillionth time – these government agencies should really just share information…), then once our dossier is submitted we wait for the Philippines to approve us and then to refer a child to us (that's an incredibly high level summary of the process...). 

We're VERY excited about this adventure God has us on - talk about letting go and letting God!
