More Funny Things Marc Says

If you're a regular reader of Pensyl Points then you know that Marc is sometimes a little, uh...out of it when he first wakes up. Every single night Marc falls asleep on the couch while I'm back getting ready for bed. I have come out and wake him up and usually end up having some ridiculous conversation that makes no sense. For example:


Sara: Sweetie wake up, it's time to go to bed
Marc: *mumbling sleepily* Did you take your shower yet?
Sara: Yup, come on back
Marc: No you didn't
Sara: Yes I did, let's go
Marc: Your hair is dry
Sara: I used a hair dryer
Marc: Mmrph. Go take your shower and come get me when you're done


So last night I get Marc moved into the bedroom and after laying there for a minute he realizes that his phone, which he uses for his alarm clock, is out on the kitchen counter. This is what I heard while laying in bed as he went to get his phone:


Marc: (as he's getting out of bed) It's hot in here. Is the fan still in here?
Sara: Yes it's by the window
Marc: I can't find it, I think it's missing
(walking out the bedroom door down the hallway)
Marc: Oh the clock is flashing. There is a teenager on our front lawn.
(in the kitchen)
Marc: Got it.
(walks back, climbs into bed)
Marc: Did you turn the fan on? It's still hot in here.


I was laughing so hard it was unbelievable. It was that silent vibrating laugh. I starting laughing when he told me the fan must be missing as he was literally walking past it and then really died when he said there was a teenager on the front lawn (normally this would have been creepy, but it was funny due to earlier events in the night).The best part is that he won't remember any of this and will tell me I'm nuts when I share it with him.

"Reasons why I love Marc Pensyl: I come home last night to find him watching "Tangled", but he doesn't want to watch "Quantum of Solace" with me tonight.

Shockingly Marc stayed awake for a whopping 25 minutes of Quantum of Solace (which wasn't that great - Casino Royale was much better). He also slept through the first 40 minutes of Tangled which I only watched so I could say I had watched the entire movie. Maximus the horse was funny - reminded me of Tucker.


We watched Black Swan the other week. It was weird. And awkward. Don't waste your time.
