You have a little something on your chin

Marc and I had tomato soup, among other things, for dinner tonight. I never ate tomato soup growing up - I think this is because my mom didn't like it. When I went to college and starting buying my own food I realized there was an entire world of food that I never knew about. Don't get me wrong I love, LOVE, my mom's cooking but I now realize that if she didn't like something she didn't make it so there was a world of food that I was never introduced to until I met Marc (i.e. The Brain).

Marc makes the best tomato soup. What's that you say? It's from a can? Well yes, but it's what he adds that makes it so good. I can't give away all of his secrets, just know that it's good. If you want some then come over (bring dessert).

So as we're eating tonight Marc got a little tomato soup on his chin and this is how the rest of dinner went:
Sara: "Oh honey you have a little bit of soup in your beard"
Marc: "Oh"
Sara looks down at her bowl to get another spoonful, looks up again and Marc has even more soup on his face, she starts to laugh and closes her eyes as she laughs. When she opens her eyes and looks again he is covered in tomato soup from his nose to his chin. Sara is laughing hysterically at this point and when she opens her eyes Marc has tomato soup smeared all over his face and a spoon print on his forehead. The spoon print really did Sara in. She's literally dying now, trying to gasp for air (this whole thing took her by surprise so she didn't have a full lungful going into this). She manages to signal to Marc to go look at himself in the mirror. Marc walks over, looks at himself and laughs.
Marc: "My whole face kind of smells like throw up. This might be turning me off from tomato soup."

You have to understand that this is the second time he's done this to me. The other time was about two years ago with enchiladas. I'm so lucky to have a husband who will literally do anything to make me laugh :) I've always said that Marc and I laugh well together - one of the many intangible ways I know this is best love on earth!
