The Kingdom of God Belongs to Such as These

In early March our niece Abigail, who recently turned two, prayed for more snow. She said she missed eating it. Erin sheepishly admitted to silently counter praying for sunny, warm weather.

We've officially been in Spring for ten days now...and it snowed last night...and more is on the way this weekend.

"People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them."  Mark 10:13-16

A good lesson from Abadabadoo on having faith that God can do anything!

Additionally David is doing well - cute as a stinkin' button! I love this guy so much - everytime I see him I just break into this huge smile!

Also, allow me to introduce our almost-here-nephew Drayke Elliot Newman!

Drayke is due to arrive on August 8...so until then we're just hanging out waiting! Drayke's mom and dad are Marc's sister Marci and her husband Nate.
